Established in August 1998, The Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer
Research is a private, not-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing the
diagnosis, treatment, cure and prevention of pancreatic cancer. The Foundation
provides direct financial support for promising pancreatic cancer research,
and has awarded nearly $4.5 million to date - making it the world's largest
private funder of pancreatic cancer research. In addition to supporting research,
the Foundation sponsors seminars for researchers and clinicians, publishes a
newsletter, and manages a Public Service Announcement (PSA) campaign to focus
national attention on pancreatic cancer.
